Mechanical Drafting Services, Inc. was established in 1987 with a commitment to provide innovative drafting, design and engineering support services for organizations within the Hi-Tech, industrial and commercial industries.  In the marketplace where buildings are getting more complex and schedules are fast track, coordination is essential.  Our diverse group of expert designers and drafters work with multi-discipline skills which enable us to coordinate the architectural with structural steel, HVAC, mechanical piping, process piping, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, communications and controls.

Today, our success is the result of taking the time to know our customers’ needs, to understand their requirements, and to have the technical expertise to translate those requests into reliable professional services.

We realize in order to provide exceptional services we must invest in the most advanced tools, technology and training available.  We have advanced CAD systems with the latest versions of AutoCad, 3-D piping, 3-D HVAC, and 3-D structural steel software and continuing education programs for all employees.

Our drawing packages are generated with the contractor and fabricator in mind. This allows the contractor to concentrate on what they do best: provide the owner with workable piping and HVAC systems that are on schedule and within budget.

Mechanical Drafting Services understands that poor drafting practices and incomplete drawings cost you money. This is why we follow our own stringent in-house standards in addition to following your prescribed standards and specifications.

We “build” the project on CAD using actual specifications of equipment and materials the contractors use, therefore, you have a very accurate As-Built at the completion of your project.
